ENG BIO

“We have deemed them to be of immense international import.”

Metal Hammer’s editor-in-chief Alexander Milas spoke loud and clear when the magazine handpicked THE INTERBEING to participate in their showcase during the internationally recognized South By Southwest festival 2012 in Austin, Texas, USA.

Emerged in 2006 the Danish modern Industrial Metal band has received several national and international award nominations before releasing their debut album Edge of the Obscure in May 2011 via Mighty Music/Target Group. The album received praises from the international press:

Hard Rock (FR) – 9 out of 10 stars : “The Danes perfectly master their instruments and mixing them with electronic sounds and different atmospheres that make the album a pearl of its kind.”

Metal Hammer (UK) – 8 out of 10 stars: “… an album with refined character and a compelling undercurrent of dark sci-fi drama.”

Legacy (DE) – 13 out of 15 stars: “Ein weiteres kapitel des “Danish Dynamite” öffnet sich.”

Gaffa (DK) . 5 out of 6 stars: “Edge of the Obscure is without doubt the best Danish metal album I’ve heard this year.”

The album went on to be number 1 in Gaffa’s (the biggest Danish music magazine) list of best national metal albums in 2011. In September 2012 Edge of the Obscure was re-released in Japan with two bonus remixes. Furthermore two tracks were used as soundtrack in the Japanese slot machine game “HEAT” in 2015.

With multiple tour dates subsequent to the release of Edge of the Obscure THE INTERBEING has given numerous performances at Copenhell, Euroblast and supporting Stone Sour, Parkway Drive and Meshuggah amongst many others.

Inspired by Meshuggah’s polyrhythms and the melodic aspects of Soilwork fused with the sinister ambience of Amon Tobin and the grandiosity of Hans Zimmer, THE INTERBEING introduces a futuristic and fresh sound to the Scandinavian Metal scene.

DK BIO

Da THE INTERBEING i 2011 udgav debutalbummet “Edge Of the Obscure”, var det med stor ros fra den internationale presse. “We have deemed them to be of immense international import.”
